Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope everyone is with their family and enjoying this wonderful day! Dick and Trish are here to spend Thanksgiving with us, it has been so nice to have them here. We have so much to be thankful for this year! Tuesday night I cooked pre-Thanksgiving meal for the kids and all of us. We had a very nice meal with ham and all the trimmings! On Wednesday the kids left for Arkansas to spend Thanksgiving with their Dads family. Today we are all just hanging out at the house enjoying mimosa's and snacks! Reed is cooking prime rib for dinner today...should be very tasty! It's nice to just be with family and relax. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgivng Holiday and you are spending it with someone you love!

Rainy days and Mondays....
Hello Family,
As you can see I changed the name of our blog...as Reed pointed out to me not everyone that follows our blog is a Nitto! LOL... So it is now named Melanie and Reed's family blog ( for now anyway ;-)) Can't believe we are a week away from Thanksgiving WOW where has the time gone? I am excited about it, yesterday we took all the Christmas decorations out of the basement and now the fun begins! We have a lot of work ahead of us this week and with Reed out of town most of the week..guess it's up to me to make it look festive! Although, I will have plenty of things for him to do this weekend when he is home. This Thanksgiving is going to be the first in our new home! I will take pictures post them to the blog after we finish decorating. We also have a very busy month ahead of us...with Auburn winning on Saturday means we will be traveling to Atlanta for the big game against South Carolina..not to mention Dylan and Taylor have a birthday in December, a Christmas party that we are hosting this year for all our friends and a Trip to Chicago and of course Christmas!! It should be a fun month! We are also looking forward to spending the holidays with family.
